“A Mom Who Has Been There Too”
My child suffered for the first nine years of his life due to what is now commonly referred to as today’s childhood epidemics. His body was extremely sensitive. He had both environmental and food allergies/sensitivities. I believe that these allergies/sensitivities may have been just a piece to the puzzle of what was going on.
The recipes in my first book were developed out of the need to feed my son allergen-free food over the years. In order to eliminate his allergens, I had to cook! At the beginning of this journey, I read product labels in store markets and quickly discovered that I had to get back to the basics. Over the years, I have found ways to substitute and cook delicious, healthy meals that are free of most allergens. More importantly, they are kid-friendly, which was extremely challenging for us for many years.
As a mom who has been there too, my mission is to share my recipes from my kitchen to yours by giving you Penne For Your Thoughts. I hope that these recipes will help you help your child or loved ones. Most of all, may you find your way towards better health.
